I'm the one on the left, beside the women who has to put up with me on a daily basis. For my Christmas she decided I had a good year and left a 'proper' camera under the tree. So I have now decided to put it to good use.
As I go on my journey from point and click to something, I hope, a bit more technical this blog is a way to keep me 'staying focussed' on the taking of photos. Pardon the pun.
Originally from Glasgow I now live in the buckle of Scotland's central belt and I work in Edinburgh as a policy and communications advisor.
Whilst this will predominantly be a photoblog you cant work in Scottish Politics like I do and not have the odd opinion on a thing or two. So with that in mind there may be a post or two on politics, culture, sport and much more. But it will mainly be photographs.
